Here is one of the famous Dutch bike parkades, housing some 5000 bikes. There are no markers of sections within the parkade, so in order to be able to find their bikes among the crowds many Dutch decorate theirs with crazy colours or decorations.

Cool stuff! So much fun to be in a place with so much history, I bet. It looks like you're having a great time (and at least you have a few Canadians there to remind you where you come from)

Okay, I just saw your e-mail on my blog...dummy me, didn't notice the comment before. Anyhow, totally cool, and I'll e-mail you a long letter when it is some decent hour of the day instead of 3:30 in the morning. Otherwise you may end up with some pretty interesting-but-hrad-to-follow reading...and I'm tired. Oh, and I will send you a letter when I get your address too. Much more fun than e-mails...
