Dutch Tulip Bloom- Can't be here and miss it.

These are some photos of the Dutch Tulip Bloom that happens every spring. It lasts about 2 weeks, just before the farmers lop off the tulip heads to harvest the bulbs. The heads just get thrown away.
My friend Thomas grew up in Leiden so we took the train there, grabbed a few bikes and went to check it out.
